How do I connect to Squick with it?

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Configure Quassel in the menubar.
  2. Navigate to IRC -> Networks in the left pane, then click the Add... button.
  3. Enter a Network name of Squick, a Server address of squick.me, and a Port of 6697. Leave the server password blank.
  4. Tick the Use secure connection checkbox, then press OK to save and close.
  5. Squick will now appear under the chat listing and in the menubar under File -> Networks. To get in, right-click Squick in the chat listing and select Connect.

How do I log into my Squick account with it?

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Configure Quassel in the menubar.
  2. Navigate to IRC -> Networks in the left pane, then select Squick.
  3. In the Auto Identify tab, tick the Use SASL Authentication checkbox. For Account, enter your main nickname (username), and for Password, simply enter your account’s password.
  4. Press OK to save and close, then either restart Quassel or reconnect to Squick.
