Where do I get it?
How do I connect to Squick with it?
- Navigate to
Settings
->Configure Quassel
in the menubar. - Navigate to
IRC
->Networks
in the left pane, then click theAdd...
button. - Enter a
Network name
ofSquick
, aServer address
ofsquick.me
, and aPort
of6697
. Leave the server password blank. - Tick the
Use secure connection
checkbox, then pressOK
to save and close. Squick
will now appear under the chat listing and in the menubar underFile
->Networks
. To get in, right-clickSquick
in the chat listing and selectConnect
.
How do I log into my Squick account with it?
- Navigate to
Settings
->Configure Quassel
in the menubar. - Navigate to
IRC
->Networks
in the left pane, then selectSquick
. - In the
Auto Identify
tab, tick theUse SASL Authentication
checkbox. ForAccount
, enter your main nickname (username), and forPassword
, simply enter your account’s password. - Press
OK
to save and close, then either restart Quassel or reconnect to Squick.
